We haven t just change its name. The all new EVO DS 100 is still a Drop Shape mast, which takes the technology, success and performance features of the Fireball 200 a step further. It's still a 100% carbon prepreg mast and still one of the lightest and best performer on the market. We have created two separate lines, with different curves and carbon fibres according to length and their use in order to optimize the performance of the whole rig in whatever discipline.


EVODS 100 wave freestyle edition 370-400 - 100% carbon prepreg- Made in Italy

This is the perfect mast for all the new generation high tension wave/freestyle sails with 4 or 5 battens ( Fly,Fly2, Firefly, Icon, S1, Ice, Duke, FreeG, Boxer, BlackTip… ) .The SDM profile in the bottom allows the battens to generate a deeper profile ( more power i.e more acceleration) yet maintaining a very stable profile which is just perfect for the new4 battens sails.
The shape gets thinner from the boom area to the top, where it reaches the diameter of a normal RDM mast.
Its reflex and feather light weight make this mast the perfect choice for modern day freestyle, where moves demand a lot of speed and immediate pop. This mast makes a huge difference thanks to its weight and reflex.

EVODS 100 Freestyle slalom freeride comp 430-460 - 100% carbon prepreg- Made in Italy

This is one of the top of the line MaverX masts, fully dedicated to light wind freestyle, freeride and slalom in its bigger sizes.
It features the same constructive characteristics as the smaller sizes, but it has a different curve to unleash power as well as a higher module fibres to enhance its reflex and lightness. We have improved it's reactivity even more this year. We have managed to create a mast that can make the rider to use up to a half meter smaller sail in the same wind conditions.
The perfect combination is achieved with light wind Freestyle sails, Freeride and no cam slalom sails, for camed sails we recommend the Daytona Pro.
The whole MaverX team has worked really hard the task being to improve the Fireball 200. We managed to do it anyway though.
